The TRUST is dedicated to our mission of supporting, inspiring and offering insights to women leaders in health care through our four pillars of networking, education, leadership development and career advancement. As a volunteer-led organization, we depend on the time and talents of members willing to bring our mission to life.

Why volunteer with the TRUST?

How do you volunteer with the TRUST?

The TRUST offers a variety of volunteer opportunities through several different committees. Each committee is tasked with specific roles and responsibilities that support the overall mission of the TRUST.

What are the current volunteer opportunities are available?

Programming Committee:

Do you enjoy planning fun and engaging events? Do you like to think outside of the box? If so, our programming committee might be a great fit for you! The TRUST programming committee is responsible for creating diverse programming options for members. (Check out these upcoming events to get an idea on some of the great work this group has set in place.)

What to expect: contribute to 1-2 events throughout the year, with full support of the team. When a committee member is organizing a program, she can expect to contribute an additional 5 hours depending on the event she is helping to organize.

Meeting schedule: this committee meets monthly.


Sponsorship Committee:

Are you someone with good communication skills who likes to network and is passionate about the TRUST? If so, check out the TRUST sponsorship committee. This group is responsible for securing sponsorships that enable the TRUST to offer a variety of programs dedicated to supporting the overall mission and four priority pillars of the TRUST (networking, education, leadership development and career advancement).

What to expect: reach out to current and prospective corporate supporters of the TRUST through networking, email and phone. Members can expect to commit an average of 3-5 hours a month to build corporate support of the TRUST.

Meeting schedule: This committee meets bi-weekly.


Membership Committee:

Are you a people person? Do you like to make connections? Are you a networker? Do you enjoy taking a vision, creating a plan and then seeing it through completion? If so, then our Membership Committee might be right up your alley. The Membership Committee is responsible for the member acquisition and retention strategies for the TRUST.

What to expect: help transform strategy and vision into a project plan through execution around retaining and growing TRUST membership. Leverage networking skills within a variety of circles including healthcare organizations. Members can expect to contribute 2-8 hours a month to help achieve committee goals.

Meeting schedule: this committee meets monthly.


Marketing/Communications Committee:

Are you someone who has an interest in working with websites to help design or write content? How about helping with newsletters, social media, or e-mail campaigns/surveys? Do you have experience with branding, messaging, or voice of the customer research projects?Do you have experience with reporting/analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI? Then our Marketing and Communications Committee might just be the perfect fit! This committee is responsible for the marketing components of the TRUST.

What to expect: collaborate around key communication components of the TRUST including developing messaging and content, supporting public relation efforts, helping elevate TRUST branding and ensuring the TRUST is meeting the needs of its members. Strong opportunity around working with analytical data, public relations, website development and writing. Members can expect to contribute 5-12 hours a month depending on the marketing project.
