UMN School of Nursing Celebrates 110th Anniversary

In 1909, the first nursing program within a university was established at the University of Minnesota, forever changing the trajectory of nursing education and the profession. On May 1, the School of Nursing will commemorate 110 years of history and celebrate its bright future of lifting the educated spirit of the nurse and nursing. The keynote will be presented by retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Patricia Horoho, the first woman and the first nurse to serve as Army Surgeon General. Read more and register.
