We continue to see examples in our professional and personal lives of how our collective strength is mightier than any one person. It’s why we hear the phrase “there is strength in numbers.” As individuals, we all have some healing to do as we emerge from the pandemic. The Power of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

I’m in a book club with a wonderful group of women, and this past month our designated book was “Between the World and Me” by Ta-Nehisi Coates. I read it during one of the record-setting stretches of freezing cold and enjoyed being able to immerse myself in the book fully. Our book club host did an excellent job of setting up the book, letting us know it was POWERFUL. She went on to say in the context of the powerful year we’ve had, it felt like the right one to read in the delicate world we live in. She was so right.
