Our Vision By realizing women's leadership potential, our communities will be healthier
The TRUST formally organized on November 15th, 1979, with 23 charter members. The goal was to support one another professionally. The original name was the “Eleven-Fifteen Club,” reflecting the date of the first meeting. In 1986, the name was changed to the Women’s Health Leadership Trust. The name still reflects our intention to expand our leadership role as an influential force in the health care community and to strengthen our original resolve to serve each other as a significant support system.
Our members are Twin Cities, Minnesota, healthcare professionals who demonstrate their on-the-job leadership in a variety of settings. We work in government, hospitals, health systems, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and in organizations that provide support to the health industry. Our members include chief executive officers, presidents, vice presidents, executive directors and managers, attorneys, physicians, clinical professionals, consultants, and business owners. Membership is extended on an invitational basis and is limited to assure that trust and commitment among the individual members can be achieved. |
